Yankee from France

Anyone had played RC car from Yankee (a France brand)?  Not sure it is still in the market.

我記得 Yankee 嗰部 1/10 buggy.........車架係用四枝龍骨砌出嚟...........行三差速.........

當年九龍城 "駿業" 個老細特登鎖死條中差速.........我到而家都唔係好明有セ好處.........

我反而唔係好明咁線ge沙地要個中差泥做乜[唔係玩野,真係唔明]
駿業係咪食為先果間??

中差用來平均前後的動力比,在抓力低的地面時會容易控制.

鎖死中差速出力會好許多,也不會因其中一方輪子離地後會完全失去動力. 跑抓力高的地面和跑平地越野車賽時更明顯.

謝謝大師父解答,想請問平均鰦前後動力之後........個副作用會唔會散失動力ga??

正常用一般傘齒和直齒的中差和設定輕時會最容易在一方輪子離地後的情況失掉動力.
也有其他設計令有一定前或後轉動有阻力改變時慢一方還是同軸轉數一樣,及同時加速令一方轉數比例(電車方面不過多是改變前方為主如Tomy 中差可在直齒內加上一棵單向啤吟的方法及而kyosho lazer zx中差內的單向啤吟也是這方向).而初代短CAT時便利用尾差速動時的左右比例來改變給前方動力, 所以當尾差速動時會令頭轉速在那刻改變.而日模的中差做法便是在一定向心力產生時會自動lock了中差.

Yankee was distributed by Waigo. French company. Won 1st offroad 1/8 world Championship. Yankee still maintains its business in 1/5 scale and there is quite good rc history carried in its webiste. Quite expensive and deluxe at that time in HK before the Taiwan cloned it. The very remarkable engine running sound with its special "birdy" exhaust pipe. One team from waigo and other team from 凱旋 had done well with it before the lightweight japanese buggies + OS engine appeared. Same situation as in the European market.

Yankee was difficult to build , you have to drill the holes to assemble the gearbox and bulkhead, not easy for students or drivers without drilling press !! The taiwan clones are much customer friendly.

I used to have a Yankee F1 long long time ago.  I can't remember if it is 1/4 or 1/5.  French car very hard to build, like polarbear brother said need to keep drilling holes and nothing fit properly.......

我記得Waigo係斜對於大街舊鋪時，即未搬來現在對住酒店果時.....
佢地做過Yankee及PB小野馬的清貨價。
當時兩部都係賣$380, 我就買左PB小野馬....無買到Yankee
