Yesterday finally unleashed the power of my E-Revo and tried using 22.2V lipo batteries. The performance is a bit crazy, much powerful than 14.8v( of course that should be normal.......). One of the tire was detached with the "Ling" and 2 servos were damaged due to crash to something and the car fly to very high and fall down (i can't see that is due to the 22.2v power).
Anyway that is a nice car and really give me many surprise.
Yup, increase the voltage also increase the loading of the car and make the parts durability decrease. Also that is predictable from day 1 when I bought this car. Just depends on what you want, if you want a wild racing, then go for 22.2v, if you just want to keep the car long life, then just use 2 packs 7.2v NiMH batteries .

Ya thats true, the maintenance cost and the way to order parts is an issue. Online shopping is convenience but wait for delivery is really annoying (unless u like to pay the high shipping charge).
