I am hopping to play the car on track, however I don't think there is any track in HK now....  I am still at step 13..hehe..Where do you play?

This car is not expensive considering the materials used.  
My db01 is not up to the standard of cat sx but cost me about the same if not more.... universal joints on all 4 wheels, slipper, carbon reinforced a-arms, optional mounting brackets, TRF shocks, screws, optional steering .......they all adds up

totally agree with you. If you need to reach such level of buggy, the price is not high. It is cheaper than a TRF 511 but with more options.

I haven't played yet as waiting TRC off road track complete (if it will)....haha...

I finally finished the car but I only using the existing 9t brushless combo.  Standard gear with 26 teeth on the motor.  I am looking for a good 6.5t combo... when I receive my double paid for this year....  any suggestions?  I can feel the difference between cat and. DB01 already!  And it is great!   I only drive around the parking lot. LOL

I am using LRP X12 6.5R motor, with 21/80 and standard internal gear ratio. I also get the tire for on road playing.

Forget about the Tamiya. CAT is a piece of art. A full option DB01 will be more expensive than a CAT.

Thanks for your suggestions.  I did put spacers with cat hex in order to use j concept wheels with new  released Tamiya tires(part number did not get recorded but from cat shop).  They are softer and "bite" the floor !

I love the design of CAT SX! wow...

i bought the original cat wheel today,very expensive,$60 for two!!
i will try to use DB01 wheel but need to change the rear wheel pin to 1.6x10!!!
if sucess i will post the photo here!!!
