truely...gallop was very innovative at that time.....but the performance was ssssoooooooooo poor...the front one horizonal damper design so poor.....cause the arm so soft...the damper mount not durable and so on so on........even have a low jump.......the damper also can absorb any shock and always "砰砰砰"........because the body hit the ground.......toooooooo bad.......
but be honest...the design of hot shot is similar....also not good in the front suspension.......
anyway...a good good memory.......

It seems to me the FAV was produced after the 1st Gulf war, at 1991.
I have the photo of this vehicle from Model Graphix when the FAV was introduced from Tamiya, This magazine at the time was more to military model and Car model. So the military look was one thing even
make the military modeller interested...
But Hornet seems to me even older , probably back in 198x.

Would like to know more about FAV,
I found the design of the differential is not good enough, it has some "click click" sound when running, does this happen in your FAV? thanks.
sorry bro. python...
i didn't run my FAV yet......
as i know the differential is the same as Hornet/grasshopper/frog...i just mean the differential gear is the same ...not the gear box.....the gear seem ok in smoothness...but i 'm not sure the "click click" sound may related to the dogbone.....because the old design of FAV used the hex.head dogbone...not the modern one.....may be it's not smooth enough....
give me some more time...let me try try to put the latest universal shaft dog bone for the re-release FROG into the FAV...and tell u guys the result....
