One of the guy in the other forum already made a custom 23mm adaptors..
but dont you think for 23mm...its only big with the rims? but not the tire?
Normally i see them on the LST with low profile tire..which is not too suitable for crawling yeah?
So i am on my way to get the Gmade wheel set as well...i will let you guys know the result of that...but i tell ya...this is one giant truck~
I am using Integy 55T lathes. The truck was built from a guy in US and I bought it off from Ebay.
I found "Hobby Hobby" (Gin Cheung) has wheel adapters for Clod which makes the hex to 23mm. Then I was planning on some Proline wheels and Proline moby (sp?) tires and ready to craw!
Unfortunately I just snapped the wheel axle. Thank god someone has a parts Chod and all I need is time to put everything back on....
Very cool very cool...... Crawlers are rare breed in Hong Kong RC world. So far I haven't really taking it out for any real crawling action yet. We should see how many Crawler players here and perhaps we can head to the beach or the old airport runway someday......
Guys, are you planning on adding weight around the rims for better tractions?

I'm running 55T motors from Topcad, got them from Challenger. By the way, if you want to use Proline wheels and Proline moab, the 23mm adapter from Hobby Hobby will not work because the offset of the wheels are too deep inside and the tires will rub the links during turning. You're gonna have to go with the adapters from RC4WD ones.

Woooo..... Thanks for the heads up man! I was gonna pick that up last week but thank got I didn't have enough cash for everything at that time...!
BTW, there are 2 kinds of moabs. What are the difference? Also, do you add any weights inside the tires?

The 23mm adapter set was directly ordered from RC4WD.com in America.
That pair of the alloy axle was the last pair I got from GPM (Chin Ngai) some time last year. Can't find them anymore in HKG now. They cost me over 2K+ by then.
