my first drifting experience with my IS200

I just finished my first test drive with my IS200 with TRF TA03 chassis, yokomo D# tires, 23T Tamiya TZ motor with 1:5.9 intellect 3800 battery.

Its great, but it only ran for 4mins.  The motor and ESC mc330 both were very hot.  The total running time was only 5mins.  I think it lost a lot of power on the wheels to spin and the co-operation of the steering and the balance as well.

Very good experience and any bro has comment on the motor ratio.  I think I may need to change a less power motor like 540 sport tuned (black).

Very funny driving experience!!!!

Yes, you are right "hot works" but I forgot how much, maybe HK40-50, few years ago. I totally brought few sets, one is still nib with yellow star pattern.  Thats why I know is from Hot works.

Brother Gibson, my advise to you, GET SOME NEW WHEELS!  Those aren't drift styles man!!!

yes, yes, yes......chrome wheels with a bit of color tint.....
drift wheels are supposed to have higher offset, deeper dish and they tuck into the fender just right.

For myself, i would never get my hands on those so-called "Hot Works" wheels, their wheels are worse than the style depicted in Fast and Furious (just my opinions)
I think the BBS mesh style rims will fit your car well, those rims should have +2mm offset, check that again on the packing.......but i could be wrong.

Because few years ago, waigo had quite a lot of hotworks rims, very colourful, some of them with discs, some of them without, so I brought few with discs and few without discs.   Check check KWS la, may have!!

Second test drive of the drift, this time with black 540sport tuned, the result is better than, at least the running time was much much longer, this time was GP3300, total time is 14mins.  but since less power, I needed to make sharp turns to let the car drift.  If using Tamiya ta03f maybe better!!
