If you plan to play at TKO, Truggy (T4), Short Course Trucks (Slash) are more suitable.

A local brand you can consider is Team C.  They have RTR 2WD, 4WD, SC and Truggy.  Parts can be ordered at KWS.  The car price is very attractive.

I have a Team C 4WD, and its almost the same as HPI Cyber 10, but only 1/2 price.

Also, if you are a new coming, I strongly suggest you start in 4WD.  Since 4WD is easier to drive than 2WD.  It will keep your interest in this hobby.

mine is 4wd 1/10 buggy. just need to order and will arrive in a few days.  
its also nice to support local brands

    你上網( yahoo ) search 下" team c"....就會搵到佢地個 offical website.....上面有佢hk 地趾 & email....我email 過去問過...可以直接上佢office 買parts ge...不過價錢就唔知貴唔貴.....冇記錯佢地係開 星期一 ~ 五 office hour only......我遲d都打算上去 搵下d op 改 我部 tc02 t~~~~呵呵

I prefer Slash, because it is all waterproof, you just need to clean by water after playing. User firendly !

If you play at TKO, get the 1/10 slash.  1/16 slash is toooo small.
