I am hearing some rumours about KO 2.4G interference problem "RF901S 2.4GHz", like jam by futaba 4pk etc. etc.. But then other C-Hing says they have no problem. Is this true or false?
Sometimes I cannot bind my KO 2.4 Tx and Rx when I am at the track side. I need to get back inside the room at TC or outside at the parking lot at TRC before they can bind again.
there was a known issue with binding problems (the transmitter not able to bind with the receiver while power up, the transmitter module LED is flashing for long period) when some futaba 4pk racers stand around the driver stand. this binding issue is able to resolve by sending back for upgrade or repairing. the problem was fixed for more than a year.
if you look in the board of the tx module look and see the color of the board. if its green send it in. if its pink or blue your cool. you can send the radio back to the factory for calibration, they should have no charge, but only mailing cost.
I just contacted World Model (KO distributor in HK), they said now needs fixing cost for upgrading, unlike last year. Oh well. . . .it is what it is I guess....
If you bought in the place other than North America, you can send your query to KO Japan e-mail: [email protected], they should able to provide the detail information and process on this. they should have no charge (this is the equipment defect), but you have to paid for the mailing cost for both trips...
