Control VRC with your own transmitter, it can't get any more realistic than that. All the settings you make on your transmitter, like trims, exponential steering and brake settings will directly be noticable in VRC.
The VRC-3 USB adaptor works independent of the brand or frequency of your transmitter as it only uses the standardized servo output signals and translates these to the standardized game controller input using the HID protocol, although the modulation does have an effect.
Spektrum 2.4 GHz systems with receivers SR3100 and SR3520 are supported and work excellent in all 5.5-11-16.5ms modes.
Futaba 2.4 Ghz systems are NOT supported because of the different modultation although some VRC users have found work-arounds to make it work. We advise to purchase the VRC-2 USB adaptor to work with 2.4 GHz systems.
The VRC-3 works on all 27-40-53-72 MHz.
With Futaba only FM and PPM modes can be used. PCM and HRS modes are not supported.
Your receiver is powered through the VRC-3 USB adaptor which receives its power from the USB port of your computer. Do not connect a receiver battery pack.
