I played 1/12 last sat and sun.  My car is setup with A123 + 8.5R (~4000kv), 94/30.  Motor temp after 10 mins about 50C.  A123 + 5.5R will be too fast!

at 3.7v, i suggest you should use pinion/spur of about 28/97.  otherwise your speed is not that fast.  (maybe slower than your last setting of 3.7v+7.5R@30/95)

at 6.6v, your current gearing is much faster than your setting last week.

你係咪用4.5r + 3.7v??  你而家行幾多motor gear  and  spur??
and why u sell  ip 1 cell    ?我都有d 興趣

我買左IP5600mah 50C, Norsam & SMC 1Cell,全部都是蕉插,我兩餅IP5000mah40C是T插,對我來講T插唔方便,所以賣左去.
我都有隻X12 4.5R未用,等我set好我架CRC先再試X12 4.5R.

我試過用SP Ver3.0 3.5T Sput 98T / pinion 20T / 1 Cell Lipo 在JV玩,快到好難控.

6.6V A123電, 你問hardmankam, 我唔玩6.6V住因為我用左Novak Booster 及要升高shock damper先可以用A123.

回覆#32 trainer C-Hing,上次玩3.5R是試下我的12son用3.5R的速度如何.所以沒有setting可以提供,真唔如意思.

funny... one type 12son.... three selectable cell types... 1S , 2S , A123 ... all give nice handling..

If you want to save your pocket, A123 is the best option. But the trend is using 1cell lipo without booster. LRP SXX TC Spec Ver 2 is the one which can support 3.5T. Very attractive. I saw a guy selling a brand new SXX TC Spec Ver 2 at RC EVO a few days ago. want to get one but need to get rid of my Novak Booster first.
