haha, the other post my friend talked about ex1ur not binding/jamming is talking about me.
my ex1ur is 1st generation. there are some binding issues when there are 3pk/4pk present. sometimes, i need to go away from the track (maybe 15-20 meters away) before the 2.4 module can bind.
Some c-hing say that ko has released a 2.4 ver 2. to solve this problem. so the newer 2.4 module should be ok.
anyway, when binded corrected, my ko works 100%. there are times i feel jamming. all i need to do is to re-bind and all is ok.
I also have tried FM module in those situation and it is 100% working with NO binding or jamming issues with futaba's 2.4G system.
EX-I was my dream radio when I was young, so I have been using it for a few years. Also got a EX10 Helios for a while, but I still preferred EX1. Used FM and then Spektrum. When there is any high power futaba around, Spektrum got jammed completely. So, I am back to FM. Hopefully they will have new solution soon.
But I don't want to switch to futaba. Don't like the look, the plastic quality, and the name!
If no one is using FM (same freq.), then FM is actually very good. Look at the last world championship, a lot of top world drivers still use FM system (mostly KO drivers). It is proven and it works well.
