OK .. here is my personal comment on the following systems.. not representing any expert advises just only my own point of view ..
Mamba 7700
Pros
- Powerful, awesome top speed with linear throttle ( finger follower )
- Detail setups with throttle curves, punches etc
- Performs like a 5 to 6T brush motor that can stand for over gearing without any thermal cut
- Senorless motor, gain less weight and mess free with extra wires
- My favourite; Lipo ready, user defined or factory defaulted voltage cut that specifically good for Lipo users
- Powerful punchy monster, can apply to both On & Off Roaders
Cons - Recently only got some outlook issue
- A bit larger in size ( comparing with LRP & longer width than GTB )
- ESC case is rather " US " muscle feel .. not as detail as other brands ( I hate its power switch and long Receiver wires - Personal opinion .. must change item )
LRP - Competition + 4 Stars
- Lipo ready
- Linear throttle specifically good upon hard corners without any " Turbo Lag " sudden boost on ur Touring EP ( more linear than Mamba with 4 stars but more punchy with Novak 4.5R motor )
- React like a 7T brush motor
- Handsome looking and deemed to be the most compact sized brushless system available within the recent market ( 540 sized )
- Good & efficient customer service in HK, ( regardless to their early closing working hr ) guaranteed 1 to 1 exchange upon malfunction
Cons
- As per one of our western brother's experience, he had blew off 3 LRPs within a mth ( but mine works perfectly fine for mths )
Novak 6.5, 5.5, 4.5
Punchy monster .. Not Lipo ready.. wont comment on others since i think i have a bit bias on Novak .. sorry ..
