Not wheel base, should be Track Width.
WGT = 200mm
Pro 10 = 235mm

C-Hings, I missed the pan car offer in the 2nd hand section so looks like I will need to go get one in kws. Looking at the crc 10LE. Any must buy spares/hop ups I should pick up also? Another thing. Will the s100 rear axle fit the crc if I want to change from 200mm to 235mm? Seems a stronger way than using extended hub. Thx. .
Lastly, if any of you C-Hings have one for sale - any brand considered, pls pm me. If I am not allowed to ask this here. Let me know and I will edit out.

There are some 1/10 pan cars every-now-and-then if you are no hurry.  Usually I find the pricing very attractive.  Actually new car ~$1700ish is also acceptable.  The car price is not that high, but TIRE's are expensive, almost $180-$200 for 10-15 runs only.

Of course the best way for 235mm is to use the proper length axle rather than aluminum extension.  I have never tried so no other comments.

You dont really need to buy spare parts for pan cars really. People change the parts out because of wear and tear (slop) rather than broken parts usually.   However, I suggest you can stock up on spur gears instead.

thanks hardmankam. I will see how long I can hold my 毒癮 before I need to 解毒. The imperial screw standard shouldn't be a problem. Same shop that sells the chassis should have extra. (fingers crossed.).  I will be using slow motors so don't think tires will be too much of a burden. I wonder if you know what ratio for 13.5t and 10.5t bl and what brand + hardness of tires to run  in JV? Thanks.

In pan car, people usually use 'Rollout' rather than using 'Gear Ratio'.  The reason is because pan uses foam tires, so it will decrease the diameter as the tire wears.  In touring, rubber tires do not shrink in size, so gear ratio is used.

For rollout, you have to know the rear tire diameter, the spur gear and pinion gear to calculate.
(Rollout = Pi * Tire * Pinion / Spur)

Assuming you using 62mm tires with 95 teeth spur, for 13.5R/10.5R you can aim for 60-70mm rollout.  The pinion to use is 29 to 34.

It is best to test, after 2-3 minutes, if the motor is too hot, then use less pinion gear.  If the motor is warm or cool, you can try more pinion gear.

Lastly, tires: rear use soft, front use medium at JV.
