C-Hing, SAME SAME for me too, TWICE .... my poor F1零死 . . .
For me, things fixed:-
a) change to steel rear axle (around $35 from KWS, its much stronger - and only 15 gram heavier which is worthwhile).
b) change to one piece T Bar (use thinker ones 1.8mm is good, since JV has high rear grip anyways)
c) I too have Team Power motor. And I too bent 2 motor shafts from JV accidents. Although with some fine re-bending work at home, I managed to get both shafts straighten....... enough to play. And you can order new Team Power shafts from 3Racing or Harmony in KWS.
d) bought tougher rear spoiler wings from Cat Shop in KWS (some japan option A/B). The plastic is as tough as the Tamiya front bumper/wing, so good for absorbing rear impact.
And hopefully, in future, someone at JV will put anti-crash barriers by the lamp posts and breaks on the fast straight. Very expensive straight . .. . for us .
PS: also avoid the track when there are too many super fast touring/4WD cars.......
Hope this helps. |
