chings, i'm completely new to RC crawler but am very interested in this one after some research. However, this one comes with a radio control unit which I really don't like. Is a plain car kit available? so that I could buy the RC unit somewhere else. thanks a lot.

no kit avaliable at the moment.

You can sell the Radio once received the RTR set if you don't like it. BTW, the stock radio on my SCX10 is indeed not bad
