HW 2000Kv combo has more than enough punch for you to bash around. A well-balanced combo I recommend is Tekin RX8 + 1900/2050kv (I am using Tekin 2050kv for my MBX6 ECO and HW 2000Kv for my T8e). However, you can only get one from Tower at resaonsable price. Another option is to use HW 2250Kv 4168SD combo (I don't have one). The motor is 30g lighter and 5mm shorter but can NOT be found in KWS. In fact, I want to replace my existing HW motor by this one.
I just check the motor length of Tekin and Hobbywing. Mine currently installed (HW 4274SD) is 74MM and all Tekin motors for buggy including 1900kv and 2050kv are just 71mm. Be reminded not to choose Tekin motors for Truggy becuase the motor length is 76mm which cannot be fitted in T8e.
Thanks Wild C Hing! Yes I notice the some of the model from the Tekin motors are longer in size. I think I will buy a set of Tekin RX8 with T8 buggy motor.
Update on my kit - last night I spent another 1 hour to complete the 3 differential gears, front oil #5000, center #5000 and rear #2000, just follow the additional instruction sheet added to the manual. In this additional instruction sheet they also added a washer on top of the axle rubber seal ring.
By the way, found the differential case is made of plastic, is other brand using metal case? Seem this plastic (though it is engineering plastic with fiber glass mixture) is the weakness part in this asembly.
All diff cases of my buggies including Kyosho and Mugen (nitro & electric) are made of plastic. Only the gears are metal. Rest assure that plastic case is strong enough.
