oh.. one of you mention "PB" it must be PB mustang.... i keep thinking about that too. too rare and  ...

can't agree no more, buy back the childhood dream!

but I have to restrict myself to buy only those real dreams, now I only keep Optima and Avante and want to sell out others. RC cars, together with their boxes, occupy way too much space!  We normally don't have basement for interest like those living overseas... So even if I spot a bargain for other vintage rc car, I would not buy la....

PB mustang is another classic, I spotted one NIB in ebay sometime ago for about US$800, but it is really rare to come by.

actually, it can be easy or difficult..
for the body shell, it depends, if your old one got many scratches, i would recommend if you can buy from a new one from after market. If not, please buy a bottle of Brasso 擦銅水, $20-30, to wipe the whole body shell in circular motion for a long time, 20-30 mintues for the whole body, you really need to be patient. but please make sure try not to wipe the sticker. The color of the original sticker can come off after wiping with 擦銅水. You may also see paint came off from from the body from inside. There is not trick there. Just buy the same color of paint and fill the empty area. I tried to wipe off the original paint by using different type of thinner for model. they all didn't work.

Amazing collection. I still remember a 黃蜂 costs $180. Front springs with no dampers. Mechanical speed control using a servo.

For tire, if there is crack.. I don't know how to fix. If there is not crack, it would be easy. First, of course, you need take it off from the wheel, of course, if there were glue. It would be much more difficult to take it off. After taking off from the wheels, please prepare a new or old teeth brush and toothpaste.. or even as simply as soap to clean the whole tire inside out. Also, you need to be patient there. After cleaning with the toothbrush, you can just wash it with water. After, please buy some spary for tires for real car out there. There are some spary to spary on tire (real car tire) surface to make it shiny. But don't spary directly on the tire as the spary area are quite large. Please spary on a toothbrush first and then, gently brush the spary on the tires. It cost you $50-60 and you can find them from car shops in Mongkok. But, the shiny spary will last for only about 2 months.

For metalic items, it should be easiest. Brasso 擦銅水 can do you everything there. Just keep wiping with toilet paper, kitchen paper or cloth. Again, you need to be patient. Also, keep in mind, if you have not try Brasso 擦銅水 before, you need to know that sillver item or gold item will become dark grey or black after wiping for 30 seconds. But don't worry. Keep wiping or use a new piece of toilet paper if it get too dark. Keep wiping, it will be very very shiny.

Never use tire treatment for real car on your rc rubber tires. It will damage your tires in long run because of the petroleum content of the product.  Use pure silicon oil or glycerin(甘油) instead.
