請教 friction damper (查查）油

我咖舊款12仔重係用 friction damper (查查），相請問如果行低 traction 嘅地面，唔想轉彎易甩尾，應該用希 D 或杰 D 嘅油？

查查控制左右回中能力.
杰油回中慢D ,但容易控D; 希油回中快D,但難控D.  
想多D Rear Traction 可使用柔彈簧, 希D 油壓油+ 尾柔呔.

Good car!
Do you play 1s or 2s or 4NiMh.... since it is a T-bar car?

I did some modifications. Now running 2s 2800 mah, with 9.5T motor. Battery crosses over the T-Bar. Doubt anyone has run the 12L4 like this before

Haha, actually i have a similar setup.
my is HB12x (t-bar) with softpack 7.4v, 4000mAh raised to clear the t-bar.
i find this setup very good since the weight is similar to 4NiMh so this makes the car very stable.

Interesting that you are running 4000 mah! The placement of my battery is slightly more forward than the centre line of original battery position for 4 x NiMh. The 2800 mah should weigh less than than 4 x NiMh. That's why I wonder if that causes the car to have less rear grip.

I raise the battery up by about 4mm to clear the T-Bar. Had to remove the carbon T-Bar brace otherwise the battery will need to be raised by 1cm! How about you C-hing?

yes, the battery pack is moved forward compared to nimh position.  the car may 'push' more.  to add more rear grip, just use softer rear tires or softer damper springs.

We have similar set up. Indeed, I might have referenced your photos in coming up with the idea of fitting 2s batteries

I will take some photos over the weekend to post here
