Personally, I think AAT was one of a kind, very brave to use a molder front beam in the middle of an era where many car were using aluminium (just like real F1). Too bad, AAT did not last for too long.
Subsequently, the 'pancar' that I consider very special will be the Kyosho Fantom 4wd. Kyosho took a very simple 2wd and simply added a chain and made it a totally easy to drive and strong in competition 4wd car. Even though it may not be the first 4wd 1/8 pancar, Fantom certainly was a class of its own!!
