飛機用的多數係往復式引擎, 而不是轉子引擎, 只不過以星形排列.

Rotary engines do not have crankshafts, cams or rocker arms for the valves. So they can rev to a very high speed with very little vibration!!

The only problem is their relatively high fuel consumption. RX-7's nickname is 穿窿油缸
