I've asked KO Propo America.  Their response on Mini-Z compatibility is "being considered".

Being Considered!!
I believe it will become what I thought before probably. All the MiniZ PCB will become FHSS....

All Brothers, store your money to buy a new PCB later then........

Ching, may be you can ask more from the factory. Will they issue a new module for MiniZ or else. Thanks!

咁即係依家一定唔得啦 ^^

I think Kyosho will produce a new Mini-Z car model (maybe MR-04 or MA02, etc) with the new FHSS board.  Obviously, a new FHSS board only is also likely for existing model upgrade.  But that should come after the new car model as there won't be much of a reason to upgrade the PCB just for the sake of using this new TX as it would be too expensive.  Look at how much it cost for a new MR03 PCB now.

Really hope that next generation of Miniz will be included Brushless + Lipo as standard package~

不過希望到時摩打同 Lipo 電都可以有穏定既 quality!

我相信摩打唔會有咩大問題, 但 Lipo 既電仔都唔會預會玩得好耐, 我估四, 五十次之後, 依d 電仔會開始唔爆~
