Front of rear wheel drive 1/12 should be toe-in instead of toe -out to make it more stable in straight line. It will also make the car had better steering response. It is because there does not have drive power in the front wheel ( in 4WD, the internal front wheel have power so that it will pull the car into the corner ). For rear wheel drive , the traction of the outer front wheel is the major wheel to push the car into the corner ( due to weight transfer so that more traction will produce in the outer front wheel ). The angel of the outer front wheel is also larger ( if in straight line is toe-in ) which also increase the steering response.
On top of that tip, if you want your car to steer more, you can use a 'softer' front springs. This is because the outer front wheel can 'dig in' into the pavement and create more traction for turn in. Similarly, you can also use softer front tires or use more tire sauce on the front wheels.
