What does stock class actually mean? And what are the differences between stock and mod? It seems to be separated into two categories especially on the esc setting as well as the motors choice. I was trying to ignore these for years but it still comes to me again because i want a serious and appropiate settings to be set by myself.
Oh is it merely meant or specified for the racing class of competition? I was asking because i saw some speed passion motor named mmm. I googled over the web but didnt get my understanding of these mmm
Modified is basically the name of a class where you can run whatever wind of motors/esc modes (i.e. turbo) you want. But in countries outside hong kong, there is usually a list of approvals which specifies which motors you are allowed to use.
Stock is the class where the event organiser decides on a particular wind and/or manufacturer as well in some cases for the motor. They also decide whether the stock event is blinky or not (no turbo).

So may the modified motor's quality perhaps be over the stock?
The modified prices were mostly a bit higher than the stock (non-mmm) but not sure the better bearings, super magnet were being used to push up their cost.
and my last question, what is wind of motor?
