Serpent 977 almost ready to go ...

Up to last Sat, total ran about 30 tanks no including engine run-in.
977 performs well, only damage is the plastic servo saver  plate. Time to change to alloy option part.

Did you replace the engine Conrad after run in?

Have not changed the conrod on IDM yet
Check it after run every Sat, will change within the next 2-4L ;)

Broke the rear belt last week and also opened IDM engine to clean up.
Changed to Picco Torque engine with Mugen clutch today, and Protoform PFL 128 body shell.
Anther 30 tanks on the road today ;) Finished 3 new sets of tires

Ching why change to Mugen clutch? Serpent clutch not good?

only the clutch bell can be interchanged.
The Mugen flywheel won't fit.

I changed to Mugen clutch only because I have spare unit, nothing wrong on the 977 clutch which is still on IDM engine

After Three years, I am still runing 977 (with many other cars of course)and lately with an OS r2101sp. Just did a complete rebuild, still perform !
