Sankyo Lambda SS

Hello, I have just acquired this car and I would have wanted to know if somebody have a little more information on this model.
It seems to me that it is about Sankyo Lambda 4wd SS exit(release) in 1988
But what is what this model was to intend for the competition either a variant of the Lambda 4wds.

My understanding is: this is a very rare car, partly because it was not cheap, partly because it does not perform too well at all....

Which are east exact name? Is the body it the same one as Average Sankyo 4WDS if not what did it resemble?\nIf somebody with documentation on these models, that interests me

Hard to describe the body. One version was lean body but moulded like a cage buggy... IMHO, not pretty.
