We have started on year 2007....but only in NITRO....hardly any electric because we have way too many different electric cars to play.
GT was started with PULL START engine and MUST BE CONVERTED by 1/8th Buggy without 2-speed...........until Kyosho bring the the IGT, then now....GT is open engine with open rule, except...must use rubber tires.
But still....not many electric GT probably because we enjoy 1 hour race more then 10 minutes race.
This is actually my electric version of GT...it is a TRAXXAS SLASH with the STRC conversion kit. With this kit, I can mount the GT body and run with only 2S lipo with the current TURBO ESC like Reventon PRO....and I am using the SP Blaze 550 5700kv with very little turbo....because it is liek 40% lighter then the current E-GT, it will be run as fast as the true 1/8th buggy base GT.
This is my Hongnor (USA called OFNA) DM1 for 3 years....really pushed her to the limit for 3 years until using the SERPENT GT this year and improved by 2 laps....like the other C-Hing said...SERPENT COBRA GT is the best so far (at this moment...)
