Not sure. You better ask someone to check it using CRO. It is similar to the case of putting 29Mhz crystal into a 27Mhz system. The output wave may be distorted a bit and hence the control distance would thus be shorted.

um... you mean the control distance...  i'm not sure about that.

since i'm using FM 41 moudle and FM40 receiver for years and i didn't feel any difference....

and my bands using are fm 40.875, 40.950, 40.975. and also 40.750.. these 4 sets.   mostly using 40.975 coz it is nearier to FM 41 frequency wave....
