how to set a motor

Can any borther tell me how to set a motor ?
for example I got a new 8Tdouble motor 芯. and i want to put into the old motor can....for example a V2 motor can, then how i should adjust the timming ? THX all !

Start with 12 degree of advance timming and tune according to yr preference.
More advance timming means more bottom end POWER, ie, increase POWER output towards high load situtation. And vice versa.
Increase in timming will increase RPM but sacrifice TORQUE.

what about the Amp ?
or rpm ?
what rpm should a 8T double generate ?

1. No LOAD Amp is useless
2. No LOAD RPM is useless
   To measure performance of a brushed motor, u need both RPM and TORQUE OUTPUT under LOAD, ie. WATT
3.  RPM, without other information,  is just a reference for gear ratio.

A 12 degree advance timming is a good starting point.
