當年廣坂係以 "非贊助車手" 贏咗呢個 1987' IFMAR 1/10 Off-Road World Championship .........之後 Masami 就轉到 Team Yokomo ..........亦開始咗佢嘅輝煌新一頁......

car design was different. Notice how much those cars bounced around on the track? Their suspensions are not so soft like nowadays.

前幾日喺一叠舊書裡面發現一本......1990年遙控模型月刋 !!.......

裡面仲有廣坂 1989 年部 YZ870c 嘅圖片 + 海報....可能因為咁所以本書 keep 到而家....

What they did not showed was the mounting of the rear suspension arms of the 91 rc10. The arms are super long and they were mounted really inward. Also note the asymmetrical lower chassis of the 91 car.

YMP (Yokomo Miracle car Product) is an old brand which makes optional parts/ upgrade kits (designed by Masami's father) for Yokomo cars' use...... selling at a horrible price.........

in the old days......you can sometimes see Masami Hirosaka using these products for racing.......

but this product line was discontinued few years ago......

this YMP MX4 was released in 2002'.......limited edition......only selling in Japan ......I only see it once in Japan many years ago.....

as you can see......this mid-ship motor belt driven car with 3+3 battery slots at the back is not a new design.........or you can say....... Masami's father is a very good graphic designer........

Take a good look at the upper deck of the 91 car, the edge of the graphite was so well polished. Just an excellent example of super well made, hand made car.

睇到呢d相片,就諗起初初玩buggy,又冇錢買新車,買部舒墨加二手都要千幾,mid就好dd,都要8/9百,加埋隻reedy金星同餅白色包裝既舒墨加電(好似係1200電),果時真係係威係勢.想時果時全部都要買二手玩,隻電變仲成包煙咁大既三和電變,(其實仲有隻ko CX-II)最記得玩一起步就出煙,當時係用金色果隻雙星540vz....好懷念..講講下差唔多廿年.

If you watch the other video '1989 IFMAR off road world championships Australia' on youtube, near the end you will see Mr. E. Moore from MIP handling a 4wd rc10 on the bench.

The interesting point is that this 4wd RC10 is VERY different from the other MIP modified 4wd rc10. This one the belt is in the middle, not off to the side. And, it seems that the the top part of the belt is above the batteries but the lower part of the belt pass through under the length of the battery!!!

This is way cool!!

當年(1987")廣坂原本係揸部 SWB 嘅 Cat 去鬥世界賽........嗰陣佢只有 HPI 贊助 motor.....冇其他 sponsor......當時 Cat XL 仲未引入日本.......

廣坂喺初賽嘅成績非常好.......所以 Schumacher 廠就即時俾咗部最新款嘅 Cat XL (係一部 Team Driver 嘅 spare car) ......俾佢去鬥埋決賽......最後佢仲贏鬼埋.....

所以廣坂贏車嗰部 Cat XL 嘅車花 (黃 + 紅 + 黑) 並唔係佢常用嘅綠色底色 + 火焰花......

之後 Schumacher 先至推出 Cat XLS 世界冠軍版......

如果細心 d 睇.......佢係裝唔到車頭嗰兩枝 nose tube........咁即係......通過唔到 "撞擊測試"......

以我嘅記億.........IFMAR Off-Road 世界賽好似自 1997' 開始..........加入咗一啲二連 jump, 三連 jump, 甚至多連 jump 嘅 track.............

喺跳台呢方面........似乎外國車手比較熟練..........

所以自始之後...........廣坂嘅領導地位就開始備受考驗........
