These warships really handle the water well with water breaking over the bows. I want to see the "after-action" report and photos of the hull interior. Surely there is a large quantity of water that gets inside?

Frankly there was not much water inside the hull "after-action". Nor was it completely dry. Water may have entered the hull from the turning shafts although the tubes were already fully filled with grease before sail. Another possiblity of water inlet were the rudder tubes due to high water pressure directly behind the propellers. What I'm saying is, it seems unlikely that water entering the hull was from above deck. It's a pity that I had not taken any picture of the boats showing iinside of the hulls. Maybe next time after sailing in rough sea.
