大工告成 Kyosho - Datsun Truck - completed on 28-5-07

剛剛今天下午收的 84' 年出的 06 eng. Kyosho DATSUN TRUCK.
架車都好企理, 仲連一個全新車殼/貼紙及公仔. 但四條呔就已經老化咗. 要搵新呔代替先得.
世事真的好巧合, 下午在覲塘取車後經過偉利模型, 就入去睇睇有密野買. 點知比我向個雜零件紙箱內找到這架車的PARTS.
之後就買咗一大堆都是5 / 6 十蚊. 真係好彩.
現在準備又要洗白白.

副偈係用一般eng車用火咀, 我會用OS no.8 火咀.
部偈啲壓縮仲好好, 應該著到車的.
現正拆散清潔中.

Play and Display, both of them will be need in my collection.
And the Mooneye Van will be next project.

Sorry ah.... I will be in China this Saturday as well....  
Would you be interested coming to Sunday TKO party?  I am going to be there in the morning... (but customer appointment in the afternoon ah...)

但四條呔就已經老化===> I also found that Kyosho tires are not so durable as Tamiya's.  I have some 20 years Tamiya kits with tires in good conditions. But for Kyosho they are deformed or cracked.  I am also finding replacement tires for 4WD JEEP INDIANA.  Since the wheel size is 2.2" with no grooves and also mounting holes are special, it is almost hopeless for me to find them

波箱組合
早期啲設計都幾特別, 個極力子係裝向個波箱裡面的, 唔係裝向eng到.

波箱全部杯士改為啤呤, 原有鋁管從新做過一支加長管, 用作管位,原有的太短有好多虛位.
經改動後全個波箱轉動得十分暢順

整咗成個月終於大工完成.
