Today I broke in my engine. I used the factory needles default setting. After about half tank of fuel the engine got too hot and smoke came out. I stopped the engine immediately. The top of engine was about 130C and the manifold (the part to connect engine and pipe) was about 150C. After one round of needles setting change the engine top was about 110C and manifold was about 110C too. Then another round of needles setting change the engine top went down to 95C and the manifold went down to 90C.
My question is - should the manifold temperature always higher than the engine top or ...? Thanks.
