RCU Review: Hot Bodies Lightning GT

The Lightning GT is an excellent choice for a basher. The platform is very rugged, and likes to jump well. The stock tires add to the vehicles capability to handle really rough terrain, and are a very good all around tire for the basher crowd. Obviously, as with any performance-minded person, tires optimized specifically for a specific terrain might perform better in some circumstances, but it would be hard to beat the stock tires for all-around fun. In the long run, a few upgrades such as the center differential make improve the Lightning GT for the crowd who simply cannot leave a vehicle in stock form. However, others will simply find the truck is more than capable right out of the box. That's when a truck like the Lightning GT shines. When it provides simple and well-intended fun!
