I am no expert but I have a CEN myself and after seeing brother Skyline's LST2 yesterday and If I choose again, I think I'll wait for the Savage X just because I think the X have more spare parts than the other 2 and HPI has been developed their Savage series for so long and everything is more reliable.
The LST2 is nice... but I personlly don't like the "strange" looking wheels and a "fat" body...    (No hard feeling Skyline....  we have that discussion yesterday, remember?  )
The CEN in my opinion is good of the realistic look and the big fat chrome wheels.....  But parts are harder to find compare the other 2 though....  (that doesn't mean it's impossiable to find, just need to order them that's all...)

that's right man, sometimes we do need to have some tradeoffs ...  Say, I like the internal design of the LST2 like huge huge shocks and widened body .... and I got to accept that it's hard to find parts and a possible change on tyres ....  Team Losi wants to satisfy both the on-road and off-road players and that's why it makes some strange looking wheels ....    Maybe they should stick with one category only ....  

Savage has been developed for more than a year and there are many different versions in the market, parrts are easier to find, at least from 老展 if you don't mind ....   Nevertheless, I guess the off-road and huge truck market in Hong Kong is not as big as in the U.S. .... and so it usually takes a while for any model / part to arrive in HK ...

thanks guys, that's why I can't make my decision...... many factors to consider......  well... i should wait for a while to see the comments on these things later and make my choice later.

btw, where are u guys playing your off-road cars??

Savage is the 1st Monster Truck that I bought in Kit version (I need to assemble the whole truck).  The 1st time I played .25 pull start engine, the 1st time I broke the pull start, the 1st time I wrongly assembled the clutch shoes, the 1st time I dismantled the whole truck and reassembled it for several times, the 1st time I use AM Transmitter to control a powerful truck  ....  These are all good experiences to me, and I love this truck too.  

However, there are too many verions launched in the market and I really find it hard to pick the best one that I want.  Each model seems to have something unique each time and that really make me hard to decide whether I should get it or not.  Later on when other manufacturers all launched their new Trucks / Truggys I switched to buy them instead, like LSTs.  The point is, Savage is still crossing my mind sometimes and despite I've owned other Trucks, I still want to give it a try if the right time has come.  Just not sure when will HPI release another version after I bought one ...

But you can buy a option parts for your savage ma~ 將各代長處集於一身~變成一隻雜版猪。同埋我覺得壞車、拆車、睇吓壞啲乜、問人、買料跟往重組、調校都係一種好有用嘅經驗。基本上吾做過吾知啲 ("Q" 妙)。
