thx very much bro~
my fd teach me if i want the engine to be durable, i shouldnt lean it during run-in period and just after run-in peroid. but i have heard another version that the engine is des ...
Do not lean the engine during the run-in period as the piston sleeve needs a LOT of LUBRICATION for run-in. Maintain the run-in temperature at above 80 degrees by setting higher idling speed, rich setting of the engine and reducing heat loss from the heat sink.
After engine run-in, high engine running temperature (130, 140,...) is not an issue as long as the engine is not excessively lean. (You can listen to the engine's sound and watch the engine's performance to determine whether the engine is excessively lean) What you should pay attention is to warm up the engine above the minimum running temperature (around 70 degrees) before running the car If u run the car agressively with the engine temperature below 70, that can cause excessive wear in the piston sleeve and imposes a lot of stress on the conrod and the crankshaft pin.
