It is indeed a very very special motor from Tamiya....its efficient.....and also powerful!

i am kinda retired from collecting Tamiya, so i have stopped my hunting of Tamiya goods....

i am now addicited by 1:18 scale stuff....

At this point, I think people who keep their FF01 are for collection only, not much use for racing anymore... so hop-ups are not too high demanding.......................

ic but if we are thinking of the collection , why we just stay limited by the setting of esc or motor? Why don't we just keep our FF01 in Up-To-Day keeping them in high racing perfromance?^^

i think parts are are very limited for this discontinued model, and plus.....we dont use parts that are not from the original manufacturer......go check out a standard FF01...and then u will know what we have modified

I know how a standard FF01 look like, because I have one FF01 too!!!
But I think you guy have not fix the problem of 推頭 ~!

No serious la......    Everyone here just want to play play and discuss...  
So, how's your FF01 look like?  I have disassembled mine and got all the replacement parts that's necessary and ready for clean and reassemble.  
So tell me, since I have never play FF01, how is it handle compare with FWD cars like M03??  I have been running M03 for a while and I recently put 23T motor in and it's pretty fast on straight but during cornering, the inside wheels spins like crazy!  
My FF01 really is gonna be for play only, not planning on running high performance race as I am going to put a "discontinue" cover on it as well.  No accident is allowed...!

I guess we are not actually playing these vintage...so in terms of setting we did not put too much effort in...

this car was raced with a 9T motor back then......and of course...you would need some stiff antiroll + the harder spring just to overcome the basic geometry of the FF car....

but this car..if u tune it right...is faster than a M03...

Yea...  I have something else that is not so rare for play........    But you should see this shell...  NIB !!!

All I need is matching wheels.............  Those are really hard to find.............
