改裝Serpent S120

大部份的1/12玩家，都是按照說明書的指示去組裝。如果大家注意的話，會發現組裝後的軸承部份，當轉動後輪的graphite 軸芯時，它並不很暢順。這是由於摩打座的內孔徑 (19.97mm) ，較軸承的膠托外徑(20.08mm)為小，令到軸承被擠壓著。（如圖）

If you grind the plastic adaptor, you need to grind it 12 times.  ( there are 6 different sets of adaptor)  Now, you only grind the motor pod two times & it fix the problem forever. Right ?

What if it is a deviation of the mould of plastic adaptor which will be fixed subsequently and your motor mount had already been ground. Why don't you tell World about this?

Yes, maybe someday the manufacturer will fix this problem ( to enlarge the ID of the motor pod or making the plastic adaptor in smaller OD).  For existing  S120 users all  they can do is to do some modification themselves.

The CRC 1/12 has the same problem like this, and recently they launch a new small OD plastic adaptor  to address this issue, and require no modification at all.

無人可保證，手磨加工後的效果。就是 CNC 加工也不一定完美。改車是一門學問和經驗，這也是高手與普通玩家的分別。

這是一個大手術，真係要高手先好攪。

19.97mm - 20.08mm 是 -0.11mm, 你將變為正數.
1) 有無計算溫差所帶來變化?
2) 行走所帶來的震動, 摩打高速轉產生壓力, 何以固定軸承及graphite 軸芯呢?
