This is age old problem of 104PRO. Just to share, hope this helps:-
- Are you using Rubber tyres or Foam? Rubber more sensitive to straight line stability.
- First thing to try, use a little toe OUT. Standard 104 seems sensitive to Toe IN for straight line. It does not like Toe In.
- Second to try, use lighter/softer damper disk spring and oil
- Third, keep differential very free (to just no slip)
- If use Tamiya Servo Saver (plastic or high torque), they tend to have loose play, check this also. Best to use alternative one, most of us use TOP saver.
- also, use straight (no camber) or use a little camber.
