I like Gyro devices in F1 RC because it makes driver like us (Not so good) better and more able to compete. Especially with direct drive chassis F1 cars, it gives it more chance against independent suspension cars like FGX. Gyro is not for everyone, some drivers prefer not to have Gyro installed because it actually slows them down or change their driving style. Whether it is allowed or not for races should depend on the race organizers. Japan's F1RCGP, and China's SGP1 both allow Gyro devices just like FIA allowing Traction Control in the real F1 cars. Some people may say it is not fair, but not fair is only if you cannot obtain a Gyro device while others can, in this case, many brands (Zen, HPI DBox, Futaba G190, etc...) make Gyro device everyone can buy on open market, so it is fair. So I am in favor of allowing Gyro for F1 races. |
