I am justing 3PK with those digital servo. I only know if I use Analog servo, I need to set to PPM mode. If not set in PPM mode, the servo will heat up and can't operate correctly.
However when discuss about the performance of digital and analog servo, I also want to know more.
If we see the speed that is always the max speed it can reach but not average speed. And how about the speed change when voltage drop? And how about the accuracy? Also how about the speed at different situation, for example, from -90 to +90, and from -60 to + 60? (I question this as I don't know if the speed is linear or not)
So...finally depends on your budget. As I think for most of cases....if you are not driving in extreme situation, you may not find the difference....
So...the extra performance is justify for extra money? Someone say yes....someone say no! |
