好盈1/8 同Novak 1/8 我都試過, 個人認為Novak 好d ~ 因為Novak 個motor 壞左可以配返條芯就玩得, 唔洗成個Motor 買過, 好盈套1/8 個Motor 制作技術未成熟, 好多人爆Motor 芯而且無散賣, 壞左成個Motor 報廢

Novak 有樣野弱d 只support 4S lipo ~不過你要玩快買佢隻4.5R 5000kv 已經好勁~ 如果真係想玩6S 唔好買好盈, 買Mamba Monster la !

Losi 1/8 system is ok.. but only support up to 5S.

HobbyWing 1/8 ESC is good, but the motor is ...

Castle Monster ESC very good, matching with Neu motor is the best choice...-> most powerful

So far I still think the Plettenberg Motor is the best.  
But you will have to pay for the performance including the cost of the schulze ESC.

it's look so cool!!!!!!do you mean this one is better than Monster Mamba?
I check before, Mamba cost USD $299, how about this one?

I just check this motor, it seems to be used in Rc-plane, can it be used in monster truck?

choosing a motor depends on the # of cells you plan to run the car.
ie: 4S -> 2300kv, 5s -> 1900kv, 6s -> 1600kv

NEU motors are famous b/c they are 4-pole motors.  they are very powerful and cool.... but expensive. (~$200us each)

有感比無感好
Tekin RX8---有感--- 6S---有電腦可setting---單睇數據好似無敵手，但我未做白老鼠吾肯定，而且新出會超貴。
Novak HV---有感---4S---冇電腦setting---線性好又超耐用，我KO了3架車，一次清潔都冇依然健康。
無感建議買Mamba 1/8，比Quark Monster & MGM涼d無甘熱，setting多d，除了BEC冇5A甘大之外，線性及反應我覺得差吾多，可能我只係放狗分吾出，team losi 得5s吾着數，d聲好似鬼叫甘！

Would you tell me more about the no. of s of the battery? is it for lipo only? the greaterr of no. of s the greater voltage or greater current?
What is the relationship between the no. of cells and the kv of the motor?

ESC: Castle MMM V3 or Hobbywing 150A (if budget)

Motor: Neu 15series... ( need to tailor make order each time, wait around 2weeks for shipment from USA)

your mentioned the Castle-Neu motor is similar to Neu-tailor-make motor, only the model is limited to two types. For the finest selection you need Neu, as they have all kinds of torque and power.....for your unique RC application..

well, I know it, the manufacturer would tailor make for the buyer with his own requirement.

Most people would aim the 'total revolution' of the motor to be around 35,000rpm for offroad.  so, if you use 4s lipo (4x3.7v=14.8v), then max of kv would be: 35,000 / 14.8 ~ 2350kv.  And 5s=18.5v->1900kv, 6s=22.2v->1570kv.

if the power drawn from the motor is the same, then its better to use more voltage to drive the motor, because you will need less current, since Power = Voltage x Current (P=VI)
(eg: if motor needs 1000W of power,
a) For 4S, the current flow is: 1000W/14.8V=67A
b) For 6S, the current flow is: 1000W/22.2V=45A)

so in b) above, the system requires less current to drive the motor than a)
because of less current, there is less heat, meaning better efficiency and better life for your electronics!  
ie: less strain on your system.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Pick one depends on your budget.

In fact, I plan  to modify the LST to a brushless LST, however,its is quite big and heavy, so I think it need a more powerful system for it.

If for brushless monster trucks, you will need 6s lipo for sure.
