Why Traxxas price is higher then the world market here in Hong Kong?

Does any c hing know why the traxxas 1/16 slash price is more expensive then the world market?
I was thinking Hong Kong prices are the cheapest for RC goods.
But If you check websites or KWS its selling around 300US$
But if you check other websites out of HK:.........................

Because everybody is waiting for so long time, {banned}ty shop pump up the price for new arrival.
I think if you can wait for a while price will come down. RC in HK is cheap compare with other places. I will buy if it's US$220. If they keep the price high, buy something else, no big deal w/o it!!!

I think for US branding, prices are cheaper in US than in HK is very reasonable, or perhaps HK distributor or retailers mark up unreasonably high.
