For brushless motors: It gets hot if it is overgear and undergear. So it's best to fall within the FDR range.
For ESC: It gets hot if there is a lot of current through the ESC. My suggestion is this:
If you go with 13.5R to 8.5R motor, get at least 60A. If 3.0R to 7.5R, get 120A.
Also get good batteries will reduce heat as well. (>30C discharge)
If you gearing is wrong, the motor will burnt out, the ESC will not.
If you motor winding is too much, your ESC will burnt out, your motor will not. |
