please help. purchasing a new EP

I am thinking of purchasing a new R/C car, now, I played TA-02 a long time ago when I was younger, so therefore I had a little bit more experience, however I have become so out of date with the R/C world, I have no idea what to get, I prefer the quality of Tamiya, however I am quite interested in drifting the car, what would the best package be? My overall budget is around $2000.
