c hing, thanks for the info. Front spool is still very new to me. I have been trying/testing with different settings. I used to use Toe-out, but the car drift too much. Will try a little toe-in, and tighten up the ball diff a little.
front wheel toe-in should give you more stability in a straight line. Make sure both left and right steering rods are the same length and both L & R has the same toe-in. usually 0.5 to 1 degree should be enough.
I used toe out on my mini-z to increase straight line stability. And today, I did the same on my f104. Using toe in, the car is not drivable, drift left and drift right all the time... once I changed to toe out no more drift.....

do toe-in and toe-out have different effects on 4WD and RWD cars? In my cases, I improved straight line stability using toe-out on RWD cars, Mini-Z MR03 and F-104... never tried this on 4WD car yet as I don't have one.
