The design of the screw-end is embedded into the graphite shaft, however, this part is a bit weak which may be easily broken. ^^
However, I am not sure if it happened to other brand car players. >_<
Also, there is an option shaft which made of aluminium. However, after collision, this would be worse when compare to graphite rear shaft since the alu. shaft is hollow and easily bend.
Yes, serpent and xray have the same issue. often the complete "screw" section come out from the rear shaft...... My friend's serpent this happen to him while he was building the car!!!!! He bring the shaft back to the shop he brought the car from and get a free replacement. Very good customer service.
Surely it should not be to tight >_<
Finally, I have got the new carbon shaft from World Model and now I am still playing with the XII link car. Hope it can last longer ^^
Oh I've yet to see it with mine and other people's serpents, only seen it happen with xray. I usually tighten my diff until you just can't slip it with your hand and haven't had any problems, been running my car, same diff for 3 months.
hum.... maybe they update it or something. As I have 2 friends with serpent with the same diff issue. Personally as I run R5 and never have any issue with the diff..... It only happen to me once long long time ago with a really old rc12. I don't even remember if it is L, LC or something...... the screw part pull complete out of the graphic axial..... Lucky it is a brand new car and I bring it back to the shop and got a free replacement. And the new one never have any issue.
