While many Tamiya releases have stood the test of time for their appearance or fun factor, the "XC" (cross-country, later called CC-01) chassis remains unique and coveted as a total package. All models in this series have been delightfully scale-looking, and also drive & handle much like their full-size counterparts. The tire size and degree of suspension travel is perfect for miniature trail runs, and they're also fairly easy to modify to enhance their off-roading capabilities.
