T8E team, I'm going to join you guys, I will buy T8E in couple of days.
Just learn a lot in this thread, hope I do it smooth during the fabrication, should be very fun
I decided to buy T8E now is due to my target on getting the RC8.2 will be due late Sept. or early Oct. so I swap the 1/8 electric buggy schedule to the front. I will stop buying toy after the RC8.2 and concentrate on driving
Finally I get started to build the kit, I used 1 hour to finish the assembly on first page I think I can finish the rest within this week.
Regarding the electronic, I saw the T8E race last Sunday in mxclub they use Tekin RX8 and T8 2650kv motor and the motor is only for 4S battery.
So here is the question, is 4S battery the max. power that the chassis can handle? I mean in a track setting even in a big track in Shenzhen. Or say, big track use 6S and small track like mxclub use 4S?
Regarding the battery power I know it is not related to the chassis but my concern is that even I put more then 4S into this chassis, can it handle or utilize this power in term of handling?
Just like what we put a 1000ps+ engine modification in a Corolla or Civic, just a waste of money, cannot run in straight either.
Just want to know the best balance point of power to chassis ratio.
