speed passion 2.0 pro esc, speed passion 4T motor old model, 64 PITCH, USE 114T/20T MOTOR TEMP 89 DEGREE, VERY HOT, AND USE 114T/24T MOTOR TEMP 83 DEGREE, ALSO STILL VERY HOT,
You running a fan? Maybe go lower fdr, you're at 9+fdr and the motor might be over revving. Try 8.5 or 8, run the car for 2 minutes and temp the motor. What firmware are you running in the esc?
Yeah, what firmware are you running on your SP v2.0? Mod or Stock firmware?
For Mod firmware, you can also tune down the punch level (mode #4) and also the ESC timing (mode #9)
Also check on the motor timing ring. SP motors has A, B and C settings. By turning clockwise (A setting), you will decrease timing, thus a cooler motor. And by turning counter-clockwise (C setting), you will increase timing and the motor can be very hot.
Setting4 is called 'start mode' (or punch level) the higher number, the bigger punch. For mod motor, maybe setting 3 or 4.
Setting9 is called 'Timing', higher number, higher power and more heat. For mod motor, try a lower number, maybe 2 or 3. (ie 8 is adding 26.25degree, which is the hottest)
