Flat-tyre is found for the previous MAN 24.310, so its not possible to continue my double-decker (impossible to find that tyre again as it is limited). I better start a new project. Its a classic Aussie Gas Merc. Now I am building the interior. To make it close to a real bus, I used the thinnest aluminium to build the chassis. The structure itself is not rigid enough. The bus body can then share part of the loads and shear force. I cant tell the finish day but hopefully I can finish most part of the interior before going back to Australia.
cos I live in Sydney for my post-grad degree and I like this bus. It's hard to find a gd HK bus cos so many constrains u will find during the making process. Or say, I tend to like making buses with full dimension and drawing data sheets. Like ur plan making AVBE, do u hv any info abt it? what is the overhanging distance? How high will u make from ground to bottom edge of body? What will u do for gearbox mounting? These are the questions i would ask myself and to be honest, German chassis is better than tri-axle British bus...(say thank you to our Tamiya gearbox. or the only solution will be...a 2-gear power train with a shortest driving shaft from taobao)
